Halogen lamp

Technology : Just like incandescent lamp, the tungsten filament of the halogen lamp allow the passage of the electrical current that creates light and heat.
However, the bulb is filled with an halogen gas that allows the particles of tungsten to settle on to the filament. This process does not darken the glass of the bulb.
Considering the required high temperature, wrap are in quartz.
Finally, considering an equivalente consumption of energy, the halogen technology offers a better life expectancy.

An halogen lamp can operate on different voltages (low tension or network tension or local supply circuit). You can also use it with a dimmer.
