This Secura Reinforced (shatterproof) TL5 (16mm tube diameter) lamp has a protective film (sheathed) that retains the glass and lamp components in case the lamp accidentally breaks. 
The lamp is easily recognizable by its blue ring on one end.


The areas of application are all places where broken glass can hamper the activity and affect the safety of products and people, for example in the food industry.
