These Blacklight Blue lamps emit long-wave ultraviolet radiation (UV-A) and a small amount of visible light.
The UV radiation falls within the 315 nm to 400 nm range and produces strong photochemical and fluorescent effects.
A dark blue filter coating on the tube filters out most visible light.
